Virtually every physician who treats adolescents or adults will encounter patients who have been victimized by their intimates: current or former spouses, boyfriends, or girlfriends whether in opposite- or same-sex relationships.
CME credit
The AMA designates this educational activity for a maximum of one hour in Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credt that he/she actually spent on the activity.
